You must register to use this site. When you do,
- a user profile is created
- a password is generated for you
- an email is sent with that password.
When creating an account, we check for similar accounts that may exist (name, ID, email)
and for acceptable domains.
Once you have an account, you can log in. If you
enabled cookies
in your browser,
and you checked the automatic login checkbox in the
login screen,
you'll be logged in automatically whenever you access any page of the site.
You should not check the
Log me in automatically in the future
checkbox on a public terminal, as it would
give access to your account information to any user of that
terminal,
or even allow them to delete your account.
After you log in, you can browse the community forums, download the product,
view Tech Notes and change your account settings, such as your password.
We impose no restrictions on user passwords, except requiring that passwords not be blank.
You can delete your account from the site in the
Account Settings
screen.
